My Dearest Peachy, I Will Miss You

Dearest Peachy,

I will miss the way you nuzzle my hand. I will miss your cute little running around, and the way that you would run to Austin and I when we called your name. I will miss your cheerfulness, even when your tummy hurt so much that you squeaked because you were sick.I will miss the fact that anytime we would pick you up, you were determined to be the happiest hamster alive for us - running on our arms and hands, munching on any little seed we gave you to eat. Even until the last minute that you were alive, I thought you would pull through. My brother Aaron would be proud of you for being such a trooper, and for being so happy and loving despite being very sick. Maybe now that you're gone he can keep an eye on you, since I can't anymore.

Thank you for being a part of my little family, even if it was for such a short time. I will miss you more than anything. When you died today at 12:16pm, it just broke my heart in two. You are my sweet little Princess Peach, and I am glad that I got to be your "mommy," even if it was just for a little while. Rest peacefully, Peachy. I hope that you are in the very happiest of hamster heavens, with all the sunflower seeds to munch on that you could possibly dream of, and the biggest of running wheels, and all the little play TV's to curl up in you could ever want. I will miss seeing your cute face every morning, and chatting with you as I eat my breakfast. Goodbye, my beloved Peachy. Goodbye.
