So I had another visit today at the doctor's office, since apparently this baby is so comfortable staying right where she's at. :) I'm going to go in to the hospital Thursday for a trial of labor, which is where they give you pitocin to stimulate contractions, and monitor the baby to see how she handles them. If nothing happens, I can come home if I like, or keep trying to see if something will happen since the baby is full term. If I decide to come home, they will induce me a week from today. Nothing much has changed, and no contractions for the past three weeks, so I guess we will see if the trial of labor picks up real labor or not...only time will tell!
Nothing much else different...well, I take that back, I did gain another two pounds, putting my maternity weight gain totaling out at a whopping 38 pounds. So much for the idea that the last few weeks your weight gain will slow down and stop. :) But the baby sounded good on the Doppler this week, and is still moving good, so I know she's healthy, and that is good. :)
I'm hoping that this baby comes soon! I'm very excited to meet my little girl, and to finally hold her in my arms (instead of just her snuggling in my tummy). :) Everything seems a little surreal...that after all this time, there really will be a little baby to call my own. :) Hopefully she wants to meet us soon, too! :)

oh Melissa. She will get here in a week no matter what...right?! She won't have a choice at that point! She must be mighty comfy in there! And I bet she will come out looking mighty clean (unlike my babes). My sisters babes were late and looked so clean compared to mine...the white vernix will have worn off the longer the baby stays in;)
How about that PICTURE!!! Don't forget to take one tonight! :) I can't wait to meet Little Miss "X". Maybe she isn't coming because she thinks her name is going to be Duckie and she is embarrassed. :)
Yeah u have to take a 41 week picture!!!! And dont feel bad about ur weight! u look great and i gave birth at about 38 weeks each time and gained riht on 50 lbs both times...if i would have gone to 41 weeks i bet i would have gained 10 more pounds! so ur weight gain sounds like nothing to me;)

Do they measure your abdomin? Has it grown since last week? You look the same size every week in your pictures. You look pretty... :)

No, they don't measure around my abdomen, just the height of the uterus usually. And how could our little girl be embarrassed...I think Duckie is a cute (nick)name! :)
