40 Week Pictures

Come on baby! :)

(Can you tell how low she is?)

40 Weeks...(AKA. Baby, It's Time To Come Out Now!)

So, I'm 40 weeks today...and no baby yet. Fortunately I'm feeling quite optimistic today so far, but since my emotions have been riding a roller-coaster this week, I'm just hoping the optimism holds for a little while. :) Or, you know, that labor starts and our little girl arrives! :)

At my appointment today I was measuring right at 40 weeks, and fortunately I hadn't gained any more weight. I thought I had stopped gaining weight at my 38 week appointment (I lost a pound)...but then at my 39 week appointment I had shot up FOUR pounds! I must say, for reminding myself to eat every day, that is quite the significant increase! At least for now everything is hovering around the 152 pound-mark. That makes 36 pounds that I have gained total since I became pregnant. Now it's time to have the baby and lose it all! :)

The baby is no longer in a posterior position, fortunately for me. :) However, since she spends her days flipping back and forth from sunny-side-up to face-down, I just hope she stays this way permanently until she is born. Austin and I like to joke that she thinks she is a little flapjack pancake, making sure both sides are fully ready before she decides she is ready to be born! :) She is at least lining up as she should, so all we need is for some contractions to start up now. :)

I'll post the picture tonight when Austin gets home. Hopefully this will be the last post before our little girl arrives! You never know when a baby will be born...maybe she will even decide to show up later tonight! :)

Homemade Cinnamon Rolls

I made some homemade cinnamon rolls today, and they turned out just perfect! :) The smells were very tempting when they were cooking in the oven...but I held out for the final product. :)

Here's the whole batch! I did the dough in my bread machine and then went from there to this yummy goodness!!! Austin loved coming home to a cinnamon-roll-smelling apartment, and we both loved eating them! Everything is homemade that you see, from the rolls to the filling, and the glaze...makes me think of Christmas! Maybe instead of Christmas time, we'll just go for having a baby instead? :D

39 Weeks Part 2

I think I must have gotten bigger...or the baby did! :) I'm voting the baby. :) I did gain 4 pounds from last week (I don't know how since I'm never hungry and have to remember to eat every day), so I think our little one will be no small fry when our she does finally arrive. Since I posted this morning though, she did flip back around so that her back is facing out instead of her tummy...hooray! :) Now let's just hope she STAYS that way...

The baby belly at exactly 39 weeks...maybe next week at my due date I'll get to post pictures of a cute baby instead of just my baby belly. :)

39 Weeks

Not much has changed this week. Playing the waiting game, and feeling tired mostly, I think. The baby has flipped to where she is facing up instead of down now, so I'm hoping she will flip back around before she gets here! Feeling big...and this is the last week to go (hopefully!). I hope we can make it! :) I will upload this week's picture of the baby belly tonight when Austin gets home.

38 Weeks Down, 2 To Go!

Here's the baby belly at 38 weeks! I'm getting bigger by the hour, I'm sure of it...I think we will have a big girl once she decides to make an appearance. :) At least we have told our little girl to come any time...we would love for her to come this week! :)

Getting big! No sleeping going on over here, so I am looking forward to our little girl's arrival, when I can look at her perfect little fingers and toes, and cute little face. :) I wonder how big she will be, and when exactly she will get here? Make a guess and we'll see who gets the closest! :)

37 Weeks!

Everything is all systems go! :) Today our little girl is full-term, and getting bigger every day. Up until this point I had not a single stretch mark...last night I did notice a couple lower on my stomach however, and told Austin. Then, I woke up this morning, and there were a ton of them! Oh well, at least they aren't that big. :) I just am excited to meet this little girl once she finally gets here!

My appointment went well, and I found out that I was coming right along and making progress, and that so was our baby! I guess we will just have to wait to find out when her birthday will be...I'm hoping she comes on Aaron's birthday (August 19)...that would be perfect, I think! :)

Sunday night I had a lot of contractions again-real ones! This time they didn't really let up, but must have continued off and on throughout the night, because when I woke up Monday my stomach felt like it was in a vice-grip. Needless to say, I haven't been feeling perfectly marvelous, but I am at least very glad that the contractions are working and doing their job. :)

I was measuring about a week and a half ahead of schedule today as well, and continue to gain weight...I don't know how, but I think it must all be going to the baby! So far I have gained 33 pounds-hopefully now that I'm almost done everything will start to level off. :) I'll update with a picture at the top of this post tonight again, once Austin gets home. I'm feeling mighty big these days! :) Here's hoping our little girl makes an appearance sooner rather than later! :)

(P.S.--Austin wanted me to post this last picture, so here it is...me and baby Palmer looking big!)

36 Week Update

I'll add a picture of how I'm looking later tonight once Austin gets home to take my picture, but I wanted to update about my appointment today, which was pretty busy!

All seems to be going pretty well. Sunday I had contractions for a while, but by the time that I went to bed that night I was feeling better. I woke up around 4 AM though, with more contractions again, but they went away after a little while as well, fortunately! :) Hopefully this will help to move things along with our little girl. :)

I was measuring 36.5 cm today, so I'm still on schedule, just feeling very tired mostly. Our little girl has dropped even lower once again, so I think the contractions must have done something other than just make me uncomfortable. :) Even though I am very tired, at least I was able to sleep all night last night! :) I didn't wake up until 6 AM, which must be a record for me--that hasn't happened in months! I was able to go back to sleep again even, though only for a few hours so I could get up to get ready for my appointment today.

All is going well, I'm just ready to wrap up being pregnant--and get to see my cute little girl! :) Only 4 more weeks left until her due date, and we're officially in the last stretch!
